As a Senior Ruby Engineer, you’ll be given the opportunity to build a number of new products and improve existing applications.   

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a small really talented team with very little hierarchy and lots of autonomy. 

Requirements

• 4+ years Ruby on Rails experience.
• Experience with SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (Redis) databases
• Unit tests (RSpec) and QA testing tools and techniques
• Strong emphasis on Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns
• Perfectly fluent in English, great communication skills
• Experience working remotely

Bonus points

• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Experience with deployment automation tools
• A good dose of ambition, a willingness to learn, and a great sense of humour. 

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Architect and develop highly scalable web applications;
• Work closely with our designers and engineers to design, build, and ship new features from scratch;
• Take ownership.
• Evaluate and improve the performance, durability, and security of applications in production;
• Build RESTful APIs.
