Ruby Engineer | Education | Fully Remote (UK) | £70,000

We are looking for a couple of Ruby Engineers to build a completely Greenfield platform in an extremely collaborative environment.

The project will focus on disrupting the Education Technology market by creating a cloud-based platform that will be used by schools on a day-to-day basis, by combining data, innovative user interfaces and integrating other products in the portfolio.

Although working fully remotely (UK) you will work closely with a team of other Ruby Engineers and benefit from the ongoing support and mentorship of an exceptional Lead Developer.

You’ll need experience of…

• *Building medium to large-scale web applications with Ruby on Rails
• *Full stack experience required, ideally with an understanding of the Hotwire framework but
• good knowledge of modern JavaScript / CSS methodologies a pre-requisite
• *Integrating with well-documented APIs
• *A relational database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL (we are currently using Postgres)
• *Automated testing (both TDD and BDD), ideally using RSpec
• *Distributed version control using Git
